Jun 11 @ 11:30 am – 12:30 pm

Greetings Friends,

It’s time for another Liberal Ladies Brown Bag Lunch and Sign Making Party at the new home of After The March Indivisible, Church of the Red Rocks in Sedona. On Wednesday, June 11th we’ll make signs for the next nationwide protest, “NO KINGS”, which will be held in Cottonwoodnot Sedona!

DJT is planning a huge, costly military parade in Washington to celebrate his 79th birthday on Saturday, June 14th. Let’s give him the birthday he deserves, with huge national protests that express how WE REALLY FEEL about his attempts to destroy our democracy. Even if you can’t make it to the march, come make a sign for a friend and join in the fun! A $5 donation for supplies is appreciated.

  • On June 14th meet at 9 AM at the Kid’s Park, just off 89A on 12th Street in Cottonwood
  • Carpool. Bring a friend and join your progressive partners across the Verde Valley

No Kings Mass Protest @ Cottonwood Kids Park

No crowns. No thrones. No kings.

Those are principles America was founded upon. They were the battle cry of the Continental Congress that adopted the American flag in June of 1777, in the midst of a war to throw off a monarchy. June 14 in fact — Flag Day.

Donald Trump has disgraced those principles. He’s actively defying our courts, sidelining Congress, cracking down on dissent, and, with this ego-driven military parade, stealing from the people to pay for his birthday party.

No Kings Day is how we’ll remind Trump, and all of our fellow Americans, that we don’t suffer kings in this country. Trump wants the world to see a glorious and powerful ruler, but what we’ll show them is a weak and unpopular president — a lame duck flailing for attention as the masses stand up to reject him.

Millions showed up on April 5 for the Hands Off! protests. Over a thousand events were held during the May Day mobilization last week.

On June 14, let’s stand together again, in even bigger numbers, against Trump’s cruelty, corruption, and abuses of power. Click here to find an event (or host your own) and make a plan to gather and remind Trump: America has No King!

No Kings Rally @ Prescott
Jun 14 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings. NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies. We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies.

🚨On Saturday, June 14, we’re taking to the streets nationwide. We’re not gathering to feed his ego. We’re building a movement that leaves him behind.🚨

On June 14th, we’re showing up everywhere he isn’t—to say no thrones, no crowns, no kings. Check out nokings.org for more information.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
