No crowns. No thrones. No kings.

Those are principles America was founded upon. They were the battle cry of the Continental Congress that adopted the American flag in June of 1777, in the midst of a war to throw off a monarchy. June 14 in fact — Flag Day.

Donald Trump has disgraced those principles. He’s actively defying our courts, sidelining Congress, cracking down on dissent, and, with this ego-driven military parade, stealing from the people to pay for his birthday party.

No Kings Day is how we’ll remind Trump, and all of our fellow Americans, that we don’t suffer kings in this country. Trump wants the world to see a glorious and powerful ruler, but what we’ll show them is a weak and unpopular president — a lame duck flailing for attention as the masses stand up to reject him.

Millions showed up on April 5 for the Hands Off! protests. Over a thousand events were held during the May Day mobilization last week.

On June 14, let’s stand together again, in even bigger numbers, against Trump’s cruelty, corruption, and abuses of power. Click here to find an event (or host your own) and make a plan to gather and remind Trump: America has No King!

No Kings Rally @ Prescott
Jun 14 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings. NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies. We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies.

🚨On Saturday, June 14, we’re taking to the streets nationwide. We’re not gathering to feed his ego. We’re building a movement that leaves him behind.🚨

On June 14th, we’re showing up everywhere he isn’t—to say no thrones, no crowns, no kings. Check out nokings.org for more information.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

If you’re like most of us, you’re no doubt concerned about the MAGA movement’s threats to our democracy both at the national and state levels. Well, if you are looking for a way to get involved and protect our institutions, The Union has just the event for you! We will be holding a community meet-and-greet dedicated to bringing together Arizonans like you who care about the future of our country. Led by our inspiring Union volunteers, this free and informal gathering is your opportunity to voice your concerns, exchange ideas, build community, and learn about meaningful actions we can take today. Together, we will brainstorm the steps we need to strengthen our democracy and stand up for the rule of law.
