The film ran away with awards this year. In addition to Best Motion Picture, Everything Everywhere was also awarded Best Original Screenplay, Best Achievement in Directing, and Best Achievement in Film Editing. In addition, Michelle Yeoh was awarded Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role, Jamie Lee Curtis for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role, and Ke Huy Quan for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role. The film, about multi-universes, the stresses and frustrations of post-modern life, and cosmic chaos, is “an exhuberant swirl of genre anarchy.” As A.
